Advisory Board

  
      The AFL Advisory Board is cross-section of lawyers and law professors who have distinguished themselves and serve our profession in diverse and important ways. Its job is to help advance AFL’s public mission, continue to serve our civil and criminal justice systems, and foster confidence in the rule of law. The Advisory Board has no executive, operational, or membership responsibility. Its members will only be asked to give advice and offer ideas. Additionally, we anticipate that some members of the Advisory Board will help us fill our membership ranks by suggesting individuals that we might otherwise miss in our selection process. In every organization, there are potential members who do not seem to make the usual lists of politically active members, or members building and protecting their law practices. 
  
   Irrespective of how careful or exhaustive our research is, we need the personal interest and attention of an Advisory Board that can help us scour all of the communities that we hope to serve--legal, judicial, academic, political and business. Together, the Executive and Advisory boards can look beyond the customary lists of achievement, certification, specialization, fellowship, election, or appointment. Together, the members of these boards will identify exactly who the top leaders, thinkers, and “doers” in our profession really are.

   Even more importantly, the Advisory Board members will help us identify, form, and advance a non-profit foundation that will make all of us proud and benefit the entire legal community in Arizona.The Advisory Board Members for 2012 are:
